You don’t need to buy a tarot deck to start learning tarot and doing your readings!
Of course, it is much better to be able to do your readings with a high quality published deck, but it is possible to improvise: you can print the cards, cut them and do your readings. In this case, as it is difficult to shuffle in the traditional way, you can spread the cards on the table and mix them up, and then take out the cards you need, depending on the chosen spread.
Download below the PDF with the famous Rider-Waite-Smith tarot cards.
There are two card size options, and three resolution options for each size:
LARGE CARDS (9.9 cm x 6 cm) – 9 pages
SMALL CARDS (6.6 cm x 4 cm) – 6 pages
Cards on a ZIP file
If you want, you can download a ZIP file with all the 78 cards:
Tarot cards in English (17 MB)
Tarot cards with blank spaces, so that you can add your own language (37 MB)
Regarding the meanings of the cards, I suggest having a good tarot book by your side, to interpret your readings. Soon I will add all my book recommendation here, but you can start with the best: “78 Degrees of Wisdom”, by Rachel Pollack, or “Learning the Tarot: a Tarot book for beginners”, by Joan Bunning.
